A Seminar Series to bring external experts at Imperial to share the latest developments in Replacement, Reduction and Refinement, and to explore new approaches and practical advances that can help us improve the way we conduct responsible animal research. The 3Rs Hub Lunchtime Talks are bi-monthly seminars where external experts present and discuss with the Imperial community about the latest advances in the 3Rs field.
For the first talk on the 23rd of September, we had the pleasure of having Emma Robinson, Professor of Psychopharmacology at the University of Bristol, which has led the development of the 3Hs Initiative – Housing, Handling and Habituation – an important approach to improving the experience of laboratory rodents throughout their lives, while also helping to support reliable and reproducible science.
If you are interested in the series and want to know about the next one, contact the 3Rs Programme Manager.
